The Conseil Général -the elected body responsible for the Val d’Oise area- working alongside consulates, State agencies and local authorities, has developed a range of aids to business. These include areas set aside for business start-ups, rental of industrial facilities, backing for technology transfers -notably in industry, construction and plastics processing- export assistance and active participation in trade fairs. As far back as 1972, the Conseil Général set up a special body dubbed CEEVO (Comité d’Expansion Economique du Val d’Oise) to assist business and promote the local economy. A computerized system monitoring companies and business opportunities has enhanced this organisation’s capacity to back new ventures and present the département’s advantages effectively.

The Val d’Oise Economic Expansion Comittee’s (CEEVO), is also a contact point for all business in Val d’Oise. It can provide you with information and assistance as well as help with the others economic organisations in Val d’Oise.
